1. Nature of Service

ColombiaPayments.com ("Company") provides a payment assistance and facilitation service.

By using this service, you understand and agree that:

  • The Company receives funds from you and attempts to complete a requested payment using local Colombian payment methods.
  • The Company performs manual review and execution of each request.
  • The Company is not the issuer of any invoice, bill, or obligation.
  • The Company is not a bank, financial institution, or escrow provider.
  • The Company is not affiliated with any government entity, utility provider, or third-party service.

2. User Responsibility

You agree that:

  • All information submitted is accurate and complete.
  • You are authorized to make the payment.
  • The payment request is valid and belongs to you or you have permission to act on behalf of the payer.

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect payment details submitted by the user
  • Invalid, expired, or already-paid invoices
  • Errors caused by incorrect instructions provided by the user

3. Service Fees

The Company charges a service fee for payment assistance.

You agree that:

  • The service fee is separate from the underlying payment amount
  • The service fee is earned upon initiation of service
  • The service fee compensates for review, handling, processing, and execution efforts

The underlying payment amount is collected on your behalf solely for the purpose of attempting to complete the requested payment.

4. Transaction Size Limits

The standard service is intended for payment requests up to $420 USD (approximately 1,680,000 COP) per transaction.

Requests above this amount:

  • May be accepted at the Company's sole discretion
  • Require prior authorization before processing
  • May be subject to additional verification, delays, or decline before funds are collected

The Company will contact you to confirm any order exceeding this limit before charging or initiating the underlying payment.

5. No Guarantee of Completion

You acknowledge that:

  • The Company does not guarantee that any payment will be successfully completed
  • Payment execution depends on third-party systems, accuracy of submitted information, and external conditions

The Company may:

  • Request additional information
  • Delay processing
  • Cancel or decline a request

6. Refund Policy

Service Fees

Service fees are non-refundable once processing begins, including:

  • Completed payments
  • Attempted payments
  • Failed payments due to user error
  • Delays caused by third-party systems

Underlying Payment Amount

If a payment cannot be completed:

  • The Company may, at its discretion, return the underlying payment amount
  • Refunds may be subject to payment processing costs, currency conversion differences, and administrative handling

Refund timelines are not guaranteed.

7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

By using this service, you agree:

  • To contact the Company first to resolve any issue before initiating a payment dispute
  • That the service fee is non-refundable once processing begins
  • That the Company may provide all relevant transaction data, communications, and records to payment processors in the event of a dispute

You acknowledge that:

  • This is a service-based transaction, not a guaranteed outcome
  • The Company's obligation is to attempt execution of the requested payment, not to guarantee acceptance by third parties

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Contest any dispute or chargeback
  • Recover funds and associated costs where permitted by law

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Losses resulting from incorrect user input
  • Third-party system failures or rejections
  • Delays outside the Company's control

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the service fee paid.

9. Authorization

By submitting a payment request, you authorize the Company to:

  • Use the provided funds to attempt the requested payment
  • Interact with third-party systems as necessary
  • Follow the instructions you provide

10. Right to Refuse or Cancel Service

The Company reserves the right to refuse any request, cancel any order, delay processing, or request additional verification at its sole discretion.

11. Fraud and Abuse

The Company may:

  • Investigate suspicious transactions
  • Suspend or block users
  • Report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia.

Any disputes shall be resolved within the appropriate jurisdiction in Colombia.

13. Modifications

The Company may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
